Acer versus gateway
Acer Aspire 5112 WLMi Turion 64 versus Gateway MX6960
There has been a little difficult for me comparing both laptop notebooks, but i will nevetheless. I have not used the Gateway laptop computer before, but my boss does. I am a secretary, i use the Acer, while my boss uses the Gateway. Initially, i started working in with her, i wondered who advised her to buy a Gateway laptop, when there are practically several wonderful laptop notebooks that will satisfy why she needs it. But when i used it, for the first time, i discovered another another laptop computer faster in getting work done than my Acer Aspire 5112.
My has some specs that are not bad such as an AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile and 1.6 Ghz processor, 1024 MB RAM, and 120GB hard drive space. I have for a long time fallen in love with a medium size screen display, of which my Acer satisfies, about 15.4 inch. It uses an operationg system of Window XP Home which is the best for my job, compared to Windows Vista. Whenever, i ger home, the first thing i do is, is put on some music using my laptop computer. The audio effect is very good, you need to check it out for yourself. With a display of 15.4 inch and a resolution of 1280x800, you practically have a place to watch you movies, giving you the brightness you so much desire.
I also get impressed with its WLAN, and standard, Bluetooth feature, and memory card feature. The weight is about the same when you compare the Acer versus Gateway. The Acer weighs 6.1 lbs which is not so bad for me to carry to the office and back. What a nice Acer, don't you think?
The Gateway on the other hand, have some features similar to mine. In comparison of the Acer versus Gateway, they both have a 15.4 inch TFT, with a resolution of 1280x800. RAM is 1024, memory card reader, but it doesn't have a Bluetooth feature. It has a PC card slot, and a 160 GB hard disk drive space, which is more than my Acer.
I should also remind you that its Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz processor is quite faster than mine, which makes a little bit envious about it. My boss also watches some movies during lunch time in her office, and she has never complained about its low display quality. The Gateway also runs on the Windows XP pro platform, and i has a standard WLAN feature too.
Oh, i forgot to mention something about its weight, it is about the same as mine (6.32 lbs).
